Nearly 500 cancer patients had their treatment disrupted yesterday when radiation therapists struck.
The 250 therapists, members of the Association of Professional and Executive Employees, were due to finish their 14-hour strike last night.
National secretary Deborah Powell said a pay increase was necessary to retain skilled staff and stop a return to 20-week waiting lists.
She said all patients yesterday had treatments rescheduled.
