A champion driver will dedicate his race today to a cousin who died suddenly last weekend.
Greg Zambucka, 43, died on a Bay of Islands fishing trip. His cousin, Porsche Carrera Series reigning champion Craig Baird, will pay tribute to Zambucka in the championship's first round meeting in Adelaide.
Zambucka's mother Toni said her son's sudden death remained a mystery, though a heart attack was suspected. "We understand they found him on his bed when he hadn't come down to tea."
Zambucka was farwelled at a service in Henderson on Friday.
