A range of Peter Rabbit soft toys sold through supermarkets has been recalled amid concerns the limbs could come off and potentially choke young children.
Consumer NZ said the Peter Rabbit Easter Series did not meet the legal safety standard which covered small parts.
Customers are asked to return the following toys for a full refund:
* Peter Rabbit Small Plush/Acetate cylinder 100g
* Jemima Small Plush/Acetate cylinder 100g
* Flopsy Small Plush/Acetate cylinder 100g
* Peter Rabbit, Flopsy, Jemima Small Plush Acetate cylinder 100g
* Peter Rabbit, Flopsy, Jemima Small Plush Acetate cylinder 34g
* Peter Rabbit CD, Small Plush and Egg 34g
* Peter Rabbit Melamine Mug & Small Plush & Egg 60g
The toys were sold through The Warehouse, Countdown, Woolworths, and Foodtown stores.
Meanwhile, a George Foreman Stick Mixer has also been recalled as is there is a risk that the blender blade may break away from the blender shaft.
The mixer involved is model GFSM1, with batch numbers 0933, 0935, 0942, 0943 or 0949, sold between September 2009 and March 2010.
