Queues at Ellerslie flower show

The 14th annual Ellerslie International Flower Show, and the first to be held in Christchurch, began yesterday with the event's customary traffic jams and queues as people braved the cold, windy weather.

One woman who paid extra for a ticket which guaranteed quick access to the show said she had moved just 150m in an hour.
