Quay St closed due to flooding

Flooding has hit Quay Street, just outside the Auckland CBD, and part of the road is presently closed.

Police say the situation is worsening so it will only be "a matter of time" before the entire road is closed.

Motorists travelling through Auckland City are warned to avoid the area.
