A quarter of the country's radiographers will strike for up to three days next month, affecting X-ray departments throughout the country.
The industrial action, organised by radiographers union Apex, aimed to get about 260 strikers pay-parity with the rest of their colleagues. The actions were scheduled to begin on September 12.
Apex spokeswoman Deborah Powell said the actions would affect the district health boards in Southland, Otago, Canterbury, Hutt Valley, Tairawhiti, Lakes and Bay of Plenty.
