A magnitude 3.8 earthquake has struck near Wanganui this morning.
GNS Science said the quake struck at 6.21am, 30km southwest of Whanganui, at a depth of 29km.
The quake was reportedly felt across the Manawatu region, and as far south as Paraparaumu.
