A 3.7 magnitude quake has struck on Wairarapa Coast this afternoon, GNS Science reported.
The quake was centred 20km east of Eketahuna and about 30km north-east of Masterton, at a depth of 30km at 12.53pm.
The tremor was reportedly felt near Palmerston North.
