KEY POINTS:
An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale shook Fiordland this morning.
The quake was centred 40km northwest of Te Anau at a depth of 90km and happened at 9.19am, GNS Science said.
The earthquake was felt in Fiordland.
