A magnitude 4.0 quake has struck Fiordland this morning.
GeoNet said the 5km-deep earthquake, centred 15km northeast of Milford Sound, hit at 8.31am.
People in Glenorchy, Frankton and Milford Sound reported feeling the quake, which GeoNet classed as moderate.
