A 3.4 magnitude earthquake was likely felt in parts of Wairarapa yesterday afternoon.
According to GNS Science, the quake struck at 1.13pm about 20 kilometres east of Pongoroa and measured 3.4 magnitude.
The quake was posted as having a light intensity and struck at a focal depth of 20 kilometres.
