Quake in Bay of Plenty

A 3.7 magnitude earthquake struck the Bay of Plenty region at 8am, according to GNS Science.

The quake was centred 10km north of Matata at a depth of 1km.

GNS Science said there were reports of the quake being felt in Kawerau.
