A man is dead after a quad bike rolled north of Auckland this afternoon.
St John Ambulance were called to the rural Dairy Flat property, north of Albany, about 12.15pm where a man believed to be in his 50s was found in a paddock, St John Ambulance team manager Glen Taylor said.
Fire communications shift manager Steve Smith said fire crews were also called to the private property where a quad bike had rolled and trapped the man.
He died at the scene, Mr Taylor said.
