Qantas is cancelling more flights between Auckland and Wellington, forcing hundreds of holiday travellers to change their plans.
Earlier this month Qantas reduced its domestic services by 20 per cent, blaming a fall in demand.
Now the airline is taking a Boeing 737 out of service until early March, for heavy maintenance.
House of Travel's Brent Thomas says the timing will mean a lot of disruption, and business travellers will be affected as well.
He says it is a busy time because of school holidays, and some people will have trouble switching to another flight.
Qantas says most passengers will be rebooked on other Qantas flights, and those who cannot be moved will get a refund.
