Pyramid selling scam

Police are investigating a pyramid selling scam which cites the late Greens co-leader Rod Donald to encourage people to spend money.

TVNZ reported that the scheme, which promises "financial freedom and prosperity", refers to Mr Donald, who died last year, as an example of a man who followed his dream to make a difference.

Party leader Jeanette Fitzsimons described the reference as "an insult to Rod's memory".
