Three teenage girls wearing Auckland City Hospital pants were arrested last night after two people were assaulted and robbed.
Police arrested the girls aged 18, 15 and 13 shortly after they boarded a southbound train in Grafton last night.
They had earlier received two reports of aggravated robberies in close proximity - Khyber Pass Rd and Carlton Gore Rd - at about 7pm.
Inspector Jill Rogers said the first alleged victim was a 17 year-old who was with two other people.
The teenage girls allegedly assaulted the 17-year-old and stole her cellphone and wallet.
