Punter wins big on first try scorer in All Blacks v Lions Test

A lucky punter has already won big with a cheeky bet on the first All Blacks and Lions test.

The TAB tweeted that the person had a placed a $4500 bet on All Blacks hooker Codie Taylor to be the first try scorer.

The odds were 26 to 1.

When Taylor obliged and crashed over for the first try, the brave punter made a whopping return of $117,000.

Then at halftime someone had some extraordinary faith in the All Blacks to pull away in the second half.

Another punter placed a $111,000 bet on New Zealand to win by 13 or more at 2 to 1 odds.
