It appears to be business as usual for Greater Wellington, with the release of their 10-year draft plan for consultation.
Open days will be held in Wairarapa where councillors and staff will advise the public on projects identified in the plan.
The main projects are public transport infrastructure, increasing public transport users, improved water quality, flood protection and emergency preparedness.
The regional council is proposing a rates increase of $38 for the 2015/16 year.
They also propose freezing public transport fares for another year.
