A report about a foul-smelling man being involved in what appeared to be an attempted sex attack in Nelson on Sunday has sparked a flood of information to police. The alleged victim - an Australian tourist - told police a man tried to drag her into bushes near Auckland Point School as she walked along Haven Rd at about 2pm. The man left the scene after the woman screamed and a couple in a car stopped to assist.
