Twenty-three people had this morning called a helpline set up for McDonald's customers worried about catching hepatitis A.
A public health alert was issued yesterday, after it was found a staff member who had been handling food had the virus.
McDonald's says the person worked only one shift preparing food, on the night of December 15.
Auckland Public Health Unit says of the 23 calls, no cases of Hepatitis A have been reported.
