Porirua residents have been warned to watch for a man trying to lure teenage girls into his car.
Police had two reports of an Indian man, 20 to 40 years old, driving up to girls and inviting them into his silver Subaru.
The medium-built man has a moustache, dark spiky hair and an Indian accent.
Detective Mike Craig said the man approached a 14-year-old girl in Tawa on her way to school yesterday, and a 13-year-old in Cannons Creek last week.
