KEY POINTS:
The beer is flowing again after a three-week dry spell at Stewart Island's South Sea Hotel.
The pub's licence ran out in February - a fact noticed only on April 3 - and it had to stop selling alcohol.
Pub regular and garage owner Jack Frew commented: "We didn't know what was going on around the place and you couldn't plan anything ... the office was closed." The pub got its licence back on Tuesday.
