A man alleged to have threatened to kill staff in the electorate offices of two senior New Zealand MPs has been remanded in custody after appearing in Auckland District Court today.
Dean Robert Miller, 45, was remanded until Friday morning for a bail application hearing.
Judge Anne Kiernan ordered a psychiatric assessment before his next appearance.
He faces four charges of threatening to kill relating to two incidents on Tuesday and two on separate days earlier this month.
The alleged incidents on Tuesday took place at the offices of Labour leader David Shearer and former leader Phil Goff.
