Two busloads of protesters from Hawke's Bay have arrived at Parliament to take a stand against New Zealand's stance on Israel's settlements.
Members of the group are carrying the Israeli flag and signs saying "Israel is a true democracy in the Middle East" and "UN resolution 2334 condemned".
The United Nations Security Council on Christmas Eve adopted Resolution 2334, which demanded that "Israel immediately and completely cease all settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem".
The protesters held signs state "Israel please forgive us" and "Shame on the foreign ministry".
One lone anti-protester amid the sea of Israeli flags and T-shirts carried a Palestinian flag, debating with others.
