KEY POINTS:
Police in Christchurch are investigating the gunpoint robbery of a prostitute in her central city home on Sunday night.
A man entered the woman's house about 9pm while she was with a client, grabbed her from behind and held a gun to her head, demanding money and her car.
Police said the robber and the client left the house together with hundreds of dollars in cash and the prostitute's silver 1997 Mazda Capella.
Detective Lisa Harrington, of Papanui police, said both the robber and the client were being sought.
The robber was described as a Maori in his early 20s and of stocky build.
