Telecom's cellular network is back up and running normally after experiencing problems in the South Island last night.
Telecom spokesman Mark Watts said there had been some disruption to texting services and calls for a couple of hours in the South Island last night.
The hardware problem had been resolved about 9pm, he said.
The cause of the problem was being investigated.
