Dates have been finalised for the 2012 edition of one of Wairarapa's highest-profile sporting events, the DHL Global Forwarding Recreation Services Pro Am golf tournament.
Co-convenor Susan Rutene revealed yesterday it would again be staged over two days, with the first day's play being at the Eketahuna Golf Club on Saturday, January 28.
The second day's play will be at Masterton Golf Club on Sunday, January 29.
The event is the first of four pro-ams to be held in the lower North Island, being followed by similar tourneys at Martinborough, Waikanae and Paraparaumu.
There will be no change to the usual format which sees a professional golfer (or celebrity) playing alongside three amateur players.
