Prison smoke ban doesn't go far enough - Maori Party

The Maori Party says the Government's ban on smoking in prisons does not go far enough.

Co-leader Tariana Turia told Newstalk ZB the ban should also apply to prison guards smoking within the precincts of a prison.

As the plan stands, guards will still be allowed to smoke in designated areas.
