Prince may visit NZ

Prince William may visit New Zealand next year after he let slip a planned Down Under tour that was meant to be top secret.

The Daily Mail reported the 27-year-old prince accidentally told a teenage tourist he planned to visit Australia next year.

The prince grinned at 15-year-old Melbourne teenager Camilla Day during a visit to the Tower of London and said: "I'm coming to Melbourne soon."

The Daily Mail reported that discussions were under way for a trip during a break in the prince's RAF training early in 2010.

But a spokeswoman for Clarence House said there were no plans for Prince William to visit Australia or New Zealand.
