Prince Charles will go to Otago, Wellington and Auckland when he visits New Zealand next month.
Prime Minister Helen Clark announced today the Prince of Wales would be in New Zealand from March 5-10 after visiting Australia.
"Prince Charles is a strong supporter of community involvement in projects to improve the local environment and is involved with organisations which help young and disadvantaged people," Helen Clark said in welcoming the visit.
While in New Zealand Prince Charles would focus on conservation, environment, agriculture and education.
He would visit Otago from March 5-7, Wellington 7-9, and Auckland 9-10 before going to Fiji.
Prince Charles last visited in 1994.
