Thousands of primary school teachers and principals are meeting from today to discuss their collective employment agreements.
New Zealand Educational Institute president Irene Cooper said the union hoped to meet most of its 27,500 members over the next month.
Teachers' collective agreements are due for renewal in the middle of next year. The issues include career pathways to principal, workload, support for new teachers and pay.
