A previously unknown short story written by Katherine Mansfield will be unveiled at the National Library in Wellington today.
Dr Gerri Kimber, a British expert on the writer, discovered the vignette and other unknown poems by Mansfield in recently acquired papers held by the Alexander Turnbull Library.
She will present the find this morning and put it into context.
The Internal Affairs Minister Chris Tremain, Alexander Turnbull Library chief librarian Chris Szekely, and the Turnbull curators responsible for the Mansfield collection, will be at the presentation.
