She ribbed the Prime Minister about his artistic skills and now Pippa Wetzell looks set to have the last laugh over John Key.
The pair are among 30 high-profile Kiwis who have drawn pictures of their favourite houses to raise funds for Wanaka Primary School.
Their efforts are being auctioned in batches on Trade Me.
Earlier this year Breakfast host Wetzell jokingly slagged off Key's design for a new Kiwi flag when he appeared on the TVOne show.
Key described his doodle as a silver fern; Wetzell likened it to a "lop-sided Christmas tree".
Key's house drawing sold this week for just $350. The auction for Wetzell's closes at 8pm today, with bidding already more than $500.
The description of her doodle says it is a home that is "light, bright and full of joy", and appears to float above the ground.
Bids for co-host Paul Henry's design - a gothic-looking house described as a "structure that is part manor house, part bell-tower" - had yet to reach $500 yesterday.
