The "practice day" for Wings Over Wairarapa 2015 yesterday provided stallholders and aviation enthusiasts with some head-turning pre-show entertainment, including aerobatic displays by three generations of jet trainer aircraft in the morning. Wings 2015 features more stalls, crafts and food, likely to be gratefully taken up by thousands of spectators. By yesterday morning a virtual motorhome city had parked up near the terminal, disgorging the dedicated who are ready for three days of serious plane-spotting. Sunny weather and warm north-westerlies are expected through to tomorrow.
