Power restored at Botany after outage

Power has been restored to 1679 homes and businesses in Botany Town Centre.

A Vector spokeswoman said an outage in the centre at 2:15pm was caused by an underground cable fault.

It was fixed by 3:30pm.

About 200 Epsom customers are still without power due to a tree falling on a line and an emergency power shutdown in Laingholm, West Auckland, will affect 130 customers until about 4:30pm, she said.
