Power cut in Waitakere

Some residents in Waitakere City faced a cold night in the dark with no power last night.

At least 100 houses in Massey, Lincoln and Henderson were affected by the power outage - caused by a feeder fault - about 8.13pm.

Vector spokeswoman Phillipa White said engineers were working to fix the problem.
