A postal worker charged with stealing thousands of items of mail in Queenstown has appeared in court this morning.
Philippa Lynette Lindsay, 32, was remanded without plea until February 14, when she appeared in the Queenstown District Court on charges of theft while in a special relationship.
The charges relate to the alleged theft of nearly 17,000 items of mail between September 1 2010 and November 9 this year.
Lindsay, who was represented by Phena Byrne, had her name suppressed until today.
