The Post-Harvest Facility Manager will be an integral part of the senior management team, ultimately reporting to the CEO.
This key role is responsible for post-harvest operations including; health and safety, financial performance, people management and other functions across HNFC Ltd.
The state of the art packing facility in Havelock North is just two years old, having been specially designed for packing Rockit apples and fitted with the latest software and technology.
HNFC's local production is set to double year on year, and the pack house and cool store operation is estimated to pack approximately 8 million apple tubes in the 2017 season.

The successful applicant should have the following:
Five years or more practical pack house management experience.
Mechanically proficient with full awareness of Compac Sorting equipment and software including in vision.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact closely with suppliers, our growers and across a culturally diverse work force.
Problem solving and time management skills.
Knowledge and understanding of BRC, WQA and MPI. Knowledge of phytosanitary compliance requirements and documentation.
Strong health and safety focus.
A professional manner, strong leadership skills and proven ability to develop and manage a team to deliver outcomes.
Strong computer literate skills and financial understanding.
Flexibility due to seasonal demands.
This is a permanent, full time position with a competitive remuneration package for the right candidate.
