Possum almost pickled on journey to UK

A bush-tailed NZ possum survived a six-week voyage to Britain in a container loaded with onions.

The creature, nicknamed Pickles, was found a week ago when workers opened the container at the port in Ipswich, Suffolk.

He will be given to a zoo after being quarantined at an animal centre for six months.
