Dayle Clarkson only sees positives from the Netball Wairarapa decision to enter a composite team in division two of the regional super league competition in 2013.
Clarkson will coach the side which will confront some of the top clubs from Wellington, Hutt Valley, Kapi Mana and Kapiti in matches which will be played on Thursday nights and she is confident the players involved will benefit significantly from confronting quality opposition on a regular basis.
"Obviously, it will be a big challenge but if players want to perform at the top level that's what they need. It will be a huge learning curve for them," Clarkson said.
Just which players will try out for the Wairarapa squad won't be known until trials are held at the Colombo Road courts on Sunday, April 28 but Clarkson is optimistic most of the region's most promising talent will be on hand, including a number who left local colleges at the end of last year and are now studying in either Manawatu or Wellington.
