Dock workers at the Ports of Auckland will walk off their jobs again tonight, in the ongoing dispute about pay and conditions.
Maritime Union President Garry Parsloe said they did make some progress in mediation today, but negotiations did not end well.
Workers will strike from 10.30pm tonight until the same time tomorrow night.
Mr Parsloe said if there is no further progress they have already given notice for another two day strike on the 23rd and 25th of the month.
