KEY POINTS:
Auckland - Wharfies walked off the job in Auckland again today as part of their ongoing dispute row with the Ports of Auckland over pay and conditions.
The workers want a 4.5 to 4.9 per cent pay rise and the company has offered only around 3.25 per cent.
It was the third time the 250 workers had struck.
They walked off for two days at the beginning of the month followed by a three hours stoppage last week and a similar stoppage today. Another is planned for Labour Day next Monday.
Neither side was available for comment today.
