The Christchurch man dubbed the "Port Hills Groper'' pleaded guilty to eight indecent assault charges when he appeared in Christchurch District Court this morning.
Seven other charges against him were either withdrawn or dismissed.
The 64-year-old man, who has name suppression, pleaded guilty through his defence counsel Moana Cole, Court News reported.
He was accused of assaulting women running alone along the Rapaki and Mount Vernon tracks on the Port Hills south of the city.
Most of the charges related to offending last year, but one dated back to 2010.
