A 38-year-old driver of a $120,000 Porsche has been charged with theft after filling his car with petrol and driving away.
The man will appear in Porirua District Court next week after he drove away without paying for $169 worth of petrol from the Paekakariki BP, The Dominion Post said.
Petrol station staff called police, who stopped Nilsson soon afterwards in nearby Mana. It is understood he told police the incident was a misunderstanding.
