Tomorrow is Poppy Day, the annual Poppy appeal for the RSA in the lead-up to Anzac Day next Friday, and the public should expect to see volunteers selling the poppy badge on the streets.
The appeal is the main source of funds for the RSA's provision of support services to war veterans and the ex-service community.
Poppies were the first flowers that grew in the battlefields of Flanders in Belgium during World War I and are a symbol of remembrance and hope.
