The St Petersburg Ballet Theatre has cancelled its New Zealand tour because of poor ticket sales.
The company was to tour the country next month with productions of Giselle and Swan Lake.
Producer Andrew Guild said he would rather the company cancelled the tour than play to less than sold-out theatres.
