The latest opinion poll shows National still leading Labour by more than 20 points.
The New Zealand Morgan poll released tonight has National on 52 per cent support, up half a point since last month, and Labour on 31 per cent, also up half a point.
The gap is 21 points, which is in line with other recent polls.
Of the minor parties, New Zealand First has made the biggest gain with 6.5 per cent support, an increase of 2.5 points since last month and its highest level since September 2006.
The Greens lost half a point to 7.5 per cent and join NZ First as the only two minor parties above the 5 per cent MMP threshold for seats in Parliament for parties that do not hold an electorate seat.
The Maori Party was down 1.5 points to 1 per cent, United Future was unchanged on 1 per cent and ACT was down 1.5 points to 0.5 per cent support.
