As we say goodbye to 2019 and welcome in 2020, it's a good time to catch up on the very best of the Herald columnists we enjoyed reading over the last 12 months. From politics to sport, from business to entertainment and lifestyle, these are the voices and views our
audience loved the most. Today it's the top five from Newstalk ZB's Kerre McIvor.

At the beginning of 2019, the country was captivated by the ongoing antics of a British family, who came to be known simply as the "Unruly Tourists". Begum is an entitled, dangerous idiot
Shamima Begum was one of three schoolgirls who ran away from Bethnal Green in London to join Isis in Syria - and decided in early 2019 that she wanted to return to the UK. However, she didn't do herself any favours in an interview with the BBC, in which she reacted dismissively to the Manchester Arena bombing. McIvor described her at the time as an "entitled, dangerous idiot with absolutely no respect for the country she left behind".
