KEY POINTS:
It appears the media will be able to report on Winston Peters' appearance in front of Parliament's privileges committee.
The New Zealand First leader is being investigated over why he did not disclose Owen Glenn's $100,000 donation to his legal fund in 2006.
Mr Peters is adamant he did not know of the financial contribution until last month. But he will have to convince members of the privileges committee of that, a committee made up of some of Parliament's most senior MPs.
There had been speculation the hearing would be held behind closed doors when it meets for three hours in ten days time. However, it now appears as though the media can report on what happens.
