New Zealand First today released its party list, placing newcomer Susan Baragwanath ahead of several sitting MPs.
Ms Baragwanath founded a school for teenage mothers in Porirua.
A rolling poll of the past six political polls puts NZ First on 6.5 per cent support which would give it eight MPs in the new Parliament.
Ms Baragwanath at number eight on the party list would make it, but six of NZ First's sitting MPs would not.
